OK, so that was a lie because i used a lot of late medieval reference on this piece. I was trying to capture that era's creepy/darkness, let me know what you think. I still need to get a fully healed picture, these were taken just after we finished the white.

Here is the week five painting of 2011. This is a portrait of a friend of mine. I wanted to paint a portrait of him in a different pose, i was thinking something along the lines of a nineteenth century business man. He said i should just get a pic of him off facebook and use it instead, so here it is.

OK, so here is the first picture i will post this weekend, there will be more i promise! This is the forth painting of 2011, titled Darcy, after my dog that it is a picture of, real tricky huh? I realize that i have not been posting any info on the artwork, so just to clarify it is all oil on canvas. For the most part all of my work has been oil over the last few years.
